Glad you could make it!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site.  My name is Frank Bisono.  I’m currently working for Oracle as a UX Architect. I’ve served in other roles previously as a Director of User Experience with hands-on experience, an Information Architect, Sr. UX Designer and Systems Engineer. I’ve been working in the technology field for over 20 years in exciting fields such as telecommunications, web, software, hardware, consumer electronics, mobile and automotive.

Some of my recent experience ranges from leading a team of designers creating innovative great new mobile apps for iOS (Apple iPhone, iPad), Android and QT mobile devices to streamlining Expedia World Wide’s checkout path; improving Expedia.com’s search functionality and usability; helping define the future of streaming media over the web, mobile devices and the 10 foot UI on Amazon.com’s Video On Demand service; to working at Microsoft on enterprise IT Pro management software applications covering Windows Server and System Center suites of applications. Previously I owned and managed a Web Hosting, Design and IT consulting firm for over ten years, and held high-level positions in sales, creative and technical roles at several telecom, internet & dot com companies. As you will notice here, I’m an active blogger and social media proponent and have helped many businesses and non-profit organizations establish or expand their presence on the web and connect with their customers through the use social media.

I am incredibly passionate about combining design with technology, and absolutely LOVE what I do and the technologies that I work with on a daily basis. I am a huge advocate for the user when it comes to creating beautiful, yet functional user experiences.

I am equally passionate about aviation, motorsports, motorcycles, fly fishing and Search and Rescue. I’m a certified pilot and active member of the Snohomish County Search and Rescue team, qualified as a rigger and a member of our Swiftwater Rescue Team. I’ve been serving in SAR teams now for over 30 years starting with the Civil Air Patrol at the age of 12 and continue to do so in support of my community and giving back to the people.

Thanks for dropping by!
