Dude... that's crazy! I lived in upstate NY for about 6 months (the coldest ones) and the temperature got as low as -10 degrees. I couldn't help but laugh at your description of the first few days up there as I remembered what my first few days driving in snow were like. The first time I had to drive on ice... oh, and there is also the time we almost hit a deer, and the first time I drove into a ditch, and the time I almost ran into a mobile home cause I slid, and ... well, you get the idea. Keep posting them pictures!

Hey Frank,
I'm in the same soup as you up here in BC. I busted my back wheel on a curb on Sunday, stayed home from work Monday, had a coworker take me in to work on Tuesday (in his Mustang!!)...worked 5 hours, picked up my car from the shop today and drove it in to work today...work 1.5 hours before it started snowing again and the boss sent us home.
It usually doesn't snow like this here and when it does snow it is usually later in December. So, I'm hoping this isn't the start of a snowy west coast winter.
Hang in there, Dr. Fleischman, you'll get through it.
