Looks like Facebook is testing some UI enhancements starting today for a limited group of users (other colleagues in the office aren’t seeing the changes). I just refreshed my browser and noticed that the UI around updating my status has changed. I have to say, I like it. It’s a very nice and much cleaner treatment around the update bar.
If you look closely there’s another interesting feature called “Question.” I read about this a few months ago on the NY Times and have been waiting to see this, and it’s finally here. Pretty interesting to say the least. It’s like ask jeeves just took over Facebook! I haven’t seen anyone actually using this so I don’t know if this is something that actually rolled out to other users earlier or if today is the first time anyone is seeing this. It seems like a potentially useful feature but time will tell.
