And it lives! Apple has fully unveiled the new iMac G5, and it's basically a Pizza box PC that looks a lot like the new Cinema displays, except white. Available in 17- and 20-inch form, the machines will come with 1.6 and 1.8GHz G5 processors, respectively. Update: One sort of geeky thing that immediately is noticable is that the iMac G5 doesn't share the "50% of the processor speed" bus as the PowerMac G5s. That's going to be a real performance wrinkler (although still a welcome bump from the G4).
