Adjusted Refresh reduces Photoshop CS preview times

Adobe has released Adjusted Refresh, a plug-in that reduces the amount of time Photoshop CS takes to redraw previews of some filter updates. The company notes that it also reduces initial scratch disk usage after you launch Photoshop, but it cautions that owners of Macs with multiple processors or more than 1GB of RAM may see an overall performance reduction after installing Adjusted Refresh. You can download the free plug-in from the Adobe Web site. [MacCentral]
